Innovative products made in idyllic landscape - that's IDS IDS has been developing components for digital image processing in the south-west of Germany since 1997. The products are used in industrial automation, quality control, security technology and non-industrial applications. With nearly 70 employees and a worldwide network of distributors, IDS operates on an international level. Our hardware and software is developed entirely in-house. Our products are manufactured either by us or by partners we have worked with for many years, enabling us to guarantee easy accessibility, fast response times and a continously high standard of quality. Over 70,000 installed Frame Grabbers and tens of thousands uEye cameras sold worldwide since their introduction in mid-2004 prove that this strategy is competitive.

Digital Image Processing		Digital Video Surveillance
Components for digital image processing for industry, diagnostics and safety systems Along with marketing IDS’s own Frame Grabbers and uEye  cameras, this division is also distributor for third-party products for the german speaking area. As an authorised distribution partner for Toshiba-TELI, as well as PENTAX, TAMRON and MVTec’s image processing software HALCON and ActivVision tools,, we are able to offer our customers all necessary components for image processing.		Modular DVR Kits based on our iGuard® video surveillance solution The development of a video surveillance software was started in 1999 on the basis of our Frame Grabber hardware. The idea was (and is) to provide customers with all necessary components in order to be able to create a high-performance video recorder for safety systems from a standard Windows PC. iGuard® has developed into a modular system over the years. In its current version, iGuard® supports analogue and IP-cameras and offers interfaces that allow integration among other things in facility management systems (Active-X technology) or browser-based solutions (Web technology).
